Early Life and Education:

Adam Scott was born in Adelaide, Australia, on July 16, 1980. Adam began playing golf at the age of 4, and for the most of his childhood was coached by his father, Phil. After moving to Queensland he attended Matthew Flinders Anglican College. At the age of 17 Adam enrolled at Kooralbyn International high School, an institution well-known for its golf program. There he further groomed his golf skills and proved himself far better than others. After three years at the school, he moved to the United States and enrolled at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He was a member of the Golf Australia National Squad.

He was only 13 when he beat his father for the first time. After 16 years of practice Adam Scott turned pro in 2000 and, over the next decade, became one of the best players of golf.  

Married Life:

Before marrying Marie, Adam experienced an emotional break-up with his longtime girlfriend. In April 2014, Scott married Marie Kojzar after being in a long-term relationship in the early to mid-2000s, before splitting up then reuniting in 2013. Marie is a Swedish architect, in a small ceremony in the Bahamas. In February 2015 Bo Vera Scott, daughter to Adam and Marie was born at Pindara Private Hospital in Queensland, Australia.


Adam Scott's playing career took off in 2001 when he won the European Tour's Alfred Dunhill Championship in Johannesburg. Since then he has been outstanding in his career. He has won 27 professional tournaments around the world and became the first Australian to win the Masters Tournament with his 2013 victory after which Greg Norman has called him “the best driver of the golf ball”.

His swings are considered virtually perfect as he pays special attention to his grip, posture and alignment. He says, "When my setup is good, I feel like I'm free to make a good swing."

Adam broke a hand and then got sick after a breakup with his girlfriend. These personal setbacks showed their effect on his career. 2009 was his worst as a pro. He missed the cut 10 times in 24 tournaments. By the end of the year, Scott's ranking had dropped to 76. But he worked after that, and rose again as the best player.


With perfect abs, 6 feet height and hot looks Adam Scott has a determined personality. He is determined to work and build his career. He strives for success and has utilized every opportunity he can to do so.

His favorite music category is rock. He says, “I like a lot of older stuff like Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath. In high school we listened to a lot of Guns N' Roses, Metallica, Smashing Pumpkins and Nirvana.”
