Early Life and Education:
Amy Freeze was born on June 19, 1974 in Utah, but raised in Indiana. She is the first daughter of Bill and Linda Freeze out of five. She graduated from Jeffersonville High School, Indiana, in 1992 then earned a Bachelor’s degree in Arts from Brigham Young University, in 1995. Freeze also received Bachelor degree in geosciences from Mississippi State University. She also has a master's degree from the University of Pennsylvania, writing her thesis on a concept she defined as "the Storm Water Action Alert Program," dealing with major cities and combined sewer overflows.
Freeze met Gary Arbuckle at Brigham Young University where she was a cheerleader and Gary was Cosmo the Cougar. They married in 1994. The couple has four children: Tyler, Jared, Kate, and William Freeze. She resides with her family on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. There are no chances of divorce as they are living a happily married life.
She started her career at NBC’s WCAU as a meteorologist working for four years and as a co-host of show 10!. At the same time she also worked for MSNBC and NBC’s Weekend Today as a substitute. Later she also got a chance to work with WFLD, KWGN and KMGN. Her broadcasting career began from the show Good Day Oregon at KPTV. She has also worked as an actress in the comedy drama television series Scrubs in the episode “My Life in Four Cameras”.
Amy is the first female ever to work as sideline reporter in Major League Soccer working for the Chicago Fire, LA Galaxy and the Colorado Rapids. For four seasons she also served NFL Chicago Bears as the sidelines. She is a certified broadcast meteorologist from the American Meteorologist Society with the certificate number 111. Worldly she is among the 20 women to receive the certificate. She also has her National Weather Association and American Meteorologist Society Seals of Approval. She has proved her success by winning the National Academy of television Arts and Science Emmy award for three times.
She is currently working at WABC-TV in New York as the weekend meteorologist.
Amy with her husband has won $100,000 in a weight-loss contest in 1999. She is also an avid runner who has completed numerous marathons. She is also a certified scuba diver. These hobbies describe how she has been able to maintain her perfect body shape which is described as hourglass shaped body with measurements 37-26-37 inches. She looks very beautiful with her long toned legs.
