Barbara Bermudo is a journalist of Puerto Rican origins. She is among the 50 Most Beautiful People who were on the cover of the People en Espanol magazine of 2007. Her birth place is Guaynabo and her father is Cuban while the mother is Puerto Rican.  She is the host for the Prime Impacto which is a news program in the Spanish language and it covers the stories about human interest and it is popular in United States with Hispanic population.  When she joined the program, she started to co-host it together with Fernando Del Rincon.

Barbara Bermudo opened a line of the women and girls clothing, accessories and shoes called CAMI and the name came from the combination of the names of her daughters Camila with Mia.

Barbara Bermudo  got married  to Andres  Moreno. He is a journalist of Colombian origins. They got married in the Dade County Courthouse and they had elaborate wedding in the 2008, in the Dominican Republic.  She gave birth to her first daughter Mya Andrea in 2009 and to her second daughter Camila Andrea in 2010.  She had also announced that she is expecting a third girl in 2015 who is yet to be born.  She is living with her family in Florida.

Barbara Bermudo started her career as a reporter for the news magazine of the Univision before she starts to work for the Primer Impacto. Before hosting Primer  Impacto,  she had also made a remarkable breakthrough when she did a case study for the drug addicts of Florida. She got an art degree in American University located in the Washington DC. She conducted the interview with many people of high profile. She interviewed, American First Lady Michelle Obama when she started with the Let’s Move campaign. During the interview, they talked about the essentiality and the benefits of having physical health and proper nutrition while in school. She had also interviewed many people who are authoritative figures from different industries.

She had an interview with Puerto Rico’s governor: Alejandro Gracia Padilla. She appeared in other shows such as the Green Carpet Grammy award and nights of the stars. Because she is a public figure, she is concerned about the health issues. Among the scandals that she had to deal with, include when the news of her death  were spread online and some believed to be true and they started to send sympathy messages but this came to be a lie. She was able to achieve fortune and fame in the journalism. She was reported as one of the 10 highest paid people in the media by magazine: People with Money.
